Olav Holst-Dyrnes takes on the role as CEO of Hofseth

Olav Holst-Dyrnes officially started as Chief Executive Officer of Hofseth on Monday, 3 August.

Bringing extensive leadership experience from both the seafood and industrial sectors, Holst-Dyrnes joins Hofseth following senior executive roles at Havfisk ASA, Ekornes ASA, Insula AS and, most recently, Kverva AS. As CEO, he will lead the continued development of the Hofseth Group, building on the company's integrated value chain and long-term ambition to become the world's most sustainable seafood company.

An Ambitious Future

Reflecting on his first days in the role, Holst-Dyrnes says he has been looking forward to joining the company.

"It is great to finally get started. I have genuinely been looking forward to joining Hofseth and working together with the team as we continue developing the company," he says.

Holst-Dyrnes highlights Hofseth's fully integrated value chain and ambitious sustainability agenda as key reasons why he was drawn to the position.

"Hofseth is an exciting company. The ambition to become the world's most sustainable seafood company, combined with owning the entire value chain, was one of the key reasons I wanted this role," he says.

Unlocking Potential

Looking ahead, Holst-Dyrnes believes the company is well positioned for continued development.

"Hofseth has grown into a strong company. I hope to contribute by building on the company's structure and continuing to unlock the great potential within Hofseth. I look forward to being part of that journey," says Holst-Dyrnes.
